Wings of Change is spreading the word about the importance of butterflies, pollinators, and plants and how they ultimately affect everything, including our health!
Our vision is to use plant species to create an ecological landscape that restores the natural cycles broken through conventional landscape design and large-scale commercial agriculture.
When your soil is healthy, there will be bugs, including caterpillars, who do important jobs to keep the soil healthy. Butterflies start a whole chain reaction to life. They are beautiful pollinators that not only provide beauty for us to watch but they are also an important food source for other species, acting as an important connector in a thriving ecosystem. There are over 20,000 native bee species in the US facing dramatic declines. Ecologists have widely used butterflies as model organisms to study the impact of habitat loss and climate change. We aim to spread the word that butterflies, pollinators, and plants are important to our world.
