Over 75 Years of Membership

The San Diego County Flower and Plant Association is a trade organization comprised of over 200 commercial flower and potted plant growers in San Diego County and their allied trade companies. Since 1947, the Association has worked to promote and inform its members, as well as to provide representation for the common good of the floriculture industry.

Our San Diego County’s farmers rank number one in the state of California in production value nursery, floriculture and avocados.  In addition, the perfect climate here allows growers to produce a wide variety of other floriculture crops. This variety includes crops such as cut flowers and cut foliage, indoor flowering plants and green foliage plants, cactus and succulents, bedding plants, bulbs, sod, landscape trees and shrubs, fruit trees, herbs, and cut Christmas trees.
